VisionThe Visakhapatnam Province started Pithapuram Mission with lot of flowery expectations and dreams. Therefore money was poured out lavishly since the inception. The pastoral work of the Pithapuram mission is appreciated. The people are happy that two new churches are constructed. The services that are being done are to be continued. The faithful are below poverty-line but they are rich in faith. Pius Associations are to be introduced. BCC programme, Marian Devotions are to be continued. Seminars and one day ‘koottams‘ for the senior citizens, married couples, youth and children are separately conducted, bringing experts from outside, are to be continued. Adorations and night-vigils are to be continued.
MissionOur educational approach is not commendable! A wrong impression is developed among the people that SFS schools are making money and schools are conducted for their lively-hood. The strength of the school is being diminished drastically year after year, is the clear and notable sign that parents are not happy with the system. Since a few years our service motto is digitally disappearing, in both pastoral and educational fields.
